My airplane

Here I am in my Grumman Cheetah, about to fire it up and depart Tanner-Hiller Airport in South Barre, Massachusetts. The airport is actually in New Braintree because it is on the New Braintree side of the Ware River, which runs thorough South Barre. The airport does not get much traffic or attention these days.

Off I go into the wild blue yonder. This photo by Bob Potvin was taken just as the aircraft nose wheel came off the ground.
